Haloween :O
this year halloween was on a sunday :( which was really bad because it meant that we coulnt spend all night out or have sleepovers :'( haha but it was still a good night :) i dressed up as a builder, i wore demin shorts, boots, a builders hat and a lumionous jacket over a checked shirt.

Colour me beautiful
last friday 2 women from the colour me beautiful place in dublin
... they talked to us about our style personality and which colours suit our different skin shades and hair colour.
the girls were very nice and helpful...they told us about different 'colour groups' for example: soft deep clear light dark warm
......i was told i was a soft :)
they told me i should wear light colours so i have tried to obey thier rules.. hehehe it was a very good day overall and i would love to go again :)...

Halloween dress up day... :D
Today is the 22nd october 2010!... the school has organised a themed dress up day!....my years theme is scary movies! i had no idea wjhat to dress up as so i just wore my normal clothes :)...
all of the 6th years hav dressed up as harry potter so they all look really cool :D
everyone had to pay 2 euro for the privalige of dressing up...the money will pay for the buses for the prefects and the student council for their bonding days....
there will be a parade at lunch time where everyone chosen will parade around and be judged :D

J.C Night...:)
this was the best night EVER!
after we got our results we all ran home to pack our bags to get ready for the disco :)
laura, and katie cam over to my house to get ready... we were soo excited....everyone was going to the time disco in naas... we met up with jessica and rachel and began to queue when we went inside we were amazed at how many people were in it and how big and loud it was :) everyone looked really pretty and we began to par-tayy ;) haha it was the best night ever :)

Mini Company Naas...:D
On monday the 20th of September, our TY Group travelled to Naas to attend a mini company introduction workshop.
There was many different schools there also so we got to hear many other ideas for the competition.
We got a talk on marketing, advertising and product design which helped us realise how big of a challenge this minicompany competition will be!
The talks helped us decide on a final product design for our companies.
We also got to ask the woman questions about the competition and our designs.
During our break half way trough the day we got to go go to mcdonalds for lunch...that was nice :)
Overall we learned alot about our designs and ourselves
We will have to attend many more of these days throughout this year.
Hi .. :) this wednesday we went on the second trip to the moat theatre in naas.
the theme was mearketing and manufacturing.
our team is a little more behind than the otehr companies so we had to 'wing it' in some areas haha..
we made friends with boys from monasterevan school and clane school.
i had to stand up in front of all of the other TYs :S and talk about our design and product.
the woman said our idea was very good so i was happy with it :) all we need now is a manufacturer!..

Carlingford (:
one of the first things we did as a TY group is our fantastic trip to carlingford ... we hhad to get up wayy too early and go to the ESSO garage for the bus. when we got there we had to decide on which rooms we want to be in which was great because we could be with our friends :) i was in a room of 6 people including Laura, Katie, Fiona, Jessica and rachel :) we are all good friends so we got on great throughout the whole trip :)
our first activity was a challenge course around a field...it was too wet and way too cold but it was amazing fun :D the instructors were funny, nice and sneaky haha they were always leading us on to thinking we were doing certain activities or something and then saying 'nahh not really' so they wound us up quite alot on the first day. later that same day we went down to the peir and made a giant raft/ canoe and PPAAADDDLLLED accros to the other side :)
it was great fun as the instructors picked us up by our life-jackets and hauled us into the water it was surpriseingly warm for the irish sea haha after this we went over to the peir and went peir jumping which was also great fun as the peir was about 3 mettres up from the water...more in parts :O hehe
the guides were unbelievably nice on the first day...their names were.. dermot...matt....paoblo( mark) seanny
that night we went on a midnight hike up a muontain :O then we went through a pitch black cave which wae had to crawl through :O it was soooo scaryy but it was gteat fun.
we were allowed go to the chinese takeaway that night too :)
the next day we went on the high ropes and did many group trust activities up there.
As you can see we were up very high!
Then... at the end of a greaatt 2 days we went on an orientation trip.... lets just say tempers flared at some of the guides... haha but all was soon forgotten and everyone was great mates again in no time :)
it was sad when we had to leave :'( most of the instructors would be dearly missed and so would the activities haha overal it was a great 2 days and i wouldnt have missed it for the world xD
